How to delete information stored on your device
1. Open Android Settings > Apps > PekanKoning AI > Storage.
2. Tap Clear storage / Clear data, or uninstall the app.
This removes the app's local language setting and locally stored preview or source information from your device.
How to request deletion of applicable server connection data
1. Email mauritz@byteme.biz with subject "PekanKoning AI - Data deletion request".
2. State that your request concerns the PekanKoning AI public preview, and provide the approximate dates of use.
3. We will review your request, ask only for details strictly necessary to find relevant records, and respond about deletion or any applicable legal/security retention requirements.
What information is affected?
The app requests a public source index from pekanbewys.co.za over HTTPS. The website's hosting service may keep ordinary server logs, including connection IP address, time and user agent. Such records may not always be identifiable to an individual, and deletion depends on which logs are accessible to the developer and on hosting-provider retention schedules. We will handle applicable records according to the law and hosting obligations. Security and legally required records may need to be retained for their applicable retention periods. We cannot delete records held independently by external websites that you choose to visit.
The app itself has no personal user profile, account or cloud-saved search history to delete. Emailing us creates correspondence retained as necessary to process your request.
